Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 only. We do not offer international shipping outside the UK at this time.
How much does shipping cost?
FREE SHIPPING on all UK orders with no minimum order value required!
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday). Delivery times from dispatch are:
- Standard Delivery: 2–4 business days
- Royal Mail Tracked 24: 1–2 business days (if selected at checkout)
Note: Personalized items may require 3–5 business days for processing before dispatch.
Can I track my order?
Standard shipping does not include tracking. If you select Royal Mail Tracked 24 at checkout, you'll receive a tracking number via email once your order is dispatched. You can track your parcel at Royal Mail Track & Trace.
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed Monday–Friday are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You'll receive a confirmation email once dispatched.
What if my package is lost or delayed?
Packages are considered lost only after 12 business days from dispatch. If you suspect your order is lost or significantly delayed, contact us at contact@joyfulloom.com with your order number and we'll investigate with the courier.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return an item?
Yes! Items can be returned within 30 days from the day you received your order. Items must be unused and in their original, unopened packaging. For hygiene and safety reasons, wooden toys must be in resalable condition.
Who pays for return shipping?
You are responsible for the cost of returning items. We recommend using your local postal service and keeping proof of postage in case your parcel is lost in transit. Please mark your package as "returned goods."
Can I return personalized items?
Personalized items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty, as they are custom-made to your specifications.
How do I return an item?
Before returning, please contact us at contact@joyfulloom.com – most issues can be resolved without a return! If you do need to return, send the item with your order details to:

How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and process your return (up to 7 working days), refunds are issued to your original payment method within 2 working days of approval. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
What if I receive a faulty or damaged item?
Contact us immediately at contact@joyfulloom.com with photos of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Products & Safety
What age are your toys suitable for?
Each product listing includes age recommendations. Our wooden educational toys are designed for babies and young children, typically from 6 months to 5 years, following Montessori developmental principles. Always supervise children during play.
Are your toys safe?
Yes! All our wooden toys meet UK safety standards for children's products. Products are made from natural wood with non-toxic finishes. Age recommendations and safety warnings are provided on each product page.
What materials do you use?
We use natural wood with non-toxic, child-safe finishes. Due to the natural characteristics of wood, grain patterns and colours may vary slightly from product images.
Can I personalize my order?
Many of our toys offer personalization options such as engraved names. Look for the personalization field on eligible product pages. Personalized items require 3–5 business days for processing and cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes! Gift wrapping options are available at checkout for most items.
Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Please contact us immediately at contact@joyfulloom.com if you need to cancel or modify your order. Once an order is dispatched or personalization has begun, we cannot make changes.
Will I be charged customs or import taxes?
No. All UK orders include VAT where applicable, and no additional customs duties or import taxes apply.
What if there's an error in pricing or product information?
Occasionally errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing, descriptions, or availability at any time. If this affects your order, we'll contact you by email or phone.
Privacy & Data
How is my personal information used?
We collect and use your personal information to process orders, manage your account, fulfill personalization requests, and (with your consent) send you promotional updates. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Do you collect children's data?
No. While our toys are designed for children, our website and services are directed to adults (parents, guardians, and gift-givers). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Can I opt out of marketing emails?
Yes! You can opt out at any time by contacting us at contact@joyfulloom.com or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
How do I access or delete my data?
