Gentleman Bear Plush Toy | 30cm Bow Tie Teddy
Opening
140 grams across 30 centimetres is what makes this one different, and it is worth explaining rather than glossing over. That is a low fill density for the size, so the bear is soft and floppy rather than firm — it squashes flat under an arm, folds into a bag, and gives when it is held. A densely stuffed bear of the same height weighs two or three times as much and behaves like a cushion instead.
Brown short-pile plush, with a bow tie at the neck. It stands 30cm and sits at 21cm.

A lightly filled toy has one clear advantage and one clear drawback. It will not hold a shape, so it slumps rather than sitting upright on a shelf and it cannot be posed. Against that, it is the reason this one can actually be cleaned: a dense 400g plush takes days to dry through and the filling stays damp in the middle, while a light one dries in hours.
Check the bow tie and the limb seams when it arrives. On a soft-filled toy the seams carry the load wherever it gets picked up, and a stitched-on detail at the neck is the part that gets pulled.
Size guide
| Measurement | Size |
|---|---|
| Standing height | 30 cm |
| Seated height | 21 cm |
| Weight | 140 g |
Fit notes
The two heights are both worth reading. 30cm is the measurement from feet to ear tips laid out flat; 21cm is what you will actually see once it is sitting on a shelf or a bed, because the legs fold forward. Buy on the seated figure if you are matching it to a space.
Allow a few centimetres either way. A soft-filled toy measures differently depending on how firmly it has been stuffed, and a lightly filled one varies more than a dense one does.
Styling
The bow tie is what moves this from a plain teddy to something that reads as dressed, which is the difference between a toy and a gift object. Brown is the only colour and the traditional one. At 30cm it is large enough to count as a proper present and small enough to post without a large parcel, which is the useful size band for sending one.
Care
Surface clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, working with the pile rather than against it, and air dry away from radiators. If it needs more than that, hand wash in cool water, press the water out rather than wringing, and reshape it while damp — the light filling is what makes this practical, and it should dry within a day. Do not tumble dry.
What is not included
No gift bag, box or wrapping is supplied; the bear arrives on its own. Clothing, blankets, cushions, other toys and anything else shown in the photographs are styling only.
Safety
For supervised play. Keep soft items out of the cot while a baby is sleeping unattended, in line with Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidance. Check the seams from time to time and stop using it if anything works loose.
